An astonishing level of interest in today's steam renaissance was shown by the general public, as well as enthusiasts, during a  trip on 22.9.01, between Bath & Bristol behind rebuilt "Merchant Navy" class 35005 "Canadian Pacific", courtesy of "Steam Dreams".  35005 Canadian Pacific Bristol TM - 22-9-01
Underlining this, a lady engaged in an art project on Bath Spa station by coincidence, and so just happening to be there as the train left Bath for Victoria, produced a lightning 2-minute sketch, which she kindly shared with me:-

On the footplate - Clun Castle - October 1967 Finally in this selection - there will be another - a footplate view taken when regular steam had hardly vanished - 1967 - Bristol Temple Meads, with the spires just showing, seen from 7029 "Clun Castle" during the Bristol Bath Road mpd Open Day.
