And Finally...

...there is a short tunnel before running through Sandford (another quarry!), Congresbury (pronounced as "Congs-", though some, including my Grandfather, who once took me fishing there, liked "Coombs-"), and into Yatton, still the  junction for Clevedon as well at that time. Trains from the Cheddar Valley terminating at Yatton used the bay platform; we are continuing straight through on the main line back to Bristol. Those were the days, now Gone With Regret, when steam and "modern" traction happily but briefly shared rails which still reached out to everyone:-
